A cable reel is an industrial device used for loading and unloading media such as gases, water, oil, lubricating oil, and cables. It is mainly used in hoisting machinery, construction machinery, and port and shipbuilding industries. Its drive types are spring-driven, electric, and pneumatic. Spring reels include both air hose reels and cable reels, while electric reels use a radial single-row winding or single-layer winding design. The structure is mostly made of hot-dip galvanized steel or polyester-coated materials, with a protection rating of IP65/66. The maximum cable capacity is up to 135 meters, and it is suitable for atmospheric pressure environments of 20-200 Bar.

Based on the installation method, reels can be divided into horizontal cable unloading (speed 10-60 m/min) and vertical cable unloading (speed 10-40 m/min). Selection depends on factors such as cable parameters, power supply method, and operating speed. Common models include the AV12 to AV60 series, supporting a maximum current of 200A and 52-pole power supply requirements. Maintenance requires regular lubrication of contact parts and control of the number of turns and arrangement of the wire rope according to specifications to ensure safe operation of the equipment. Its production must meet industry standards; for example, cast iron drums need to undergo aging treatment, and cast steel drums need to undergo annealing.
